We are born with one thing, but where we want to get to is usually somewhere completely different.

This is the most important step to achieving your goals because you’ll be free to be yourself the moment you realise what you think of yourself is far more important that what other’s think of you. Everyone has an opinion. It is their prerogative in the same way it is yours to ignore it, and you should ignore any opinion that doesn’t help you be the best you possible. Stop caring what people think. So know what you want and go and get it. Who cares what others think. It’s better to be the one out there chasing dreams than the one too scared to move.

 

Even Champions Need Daily Motivation

Motivation doesn’t last forever. In fact, sometimes it can barely last a day. So what? Neither does bathing, which is why we do it every day. So find motivation everywhere and surround yourself with it. It could be people. It could be posters. It could be in the gym. It could be in your wardrobe of RenegadeCitizen motivational workout shirts, your family or friends, the books you read, the classes you attend or the picture you stare at every evening before hitting the bed. We go to school, and maybe college, to grow, to become smarter, better and more knowledgeable. After all, knowledge is power. But then we leave education and we forget to continue investing in ourselves. We forget how much power learning has over our chances of success. Well, it is time you started considering what skills will help you to achieve your goals. There is always time to invest in yourself. Care about yourself more. Read books instead of magazines. Listen to podcasts before bed or on your commute. Self-improvement should be your top priority.
